wow took forever to get back here this time not from lack of painting but just virus on computer then hackers messing everything up and finally...Yes finally I am back

2016 New Series....still trying to find my way back.
Oh well...here is my newest series. I am still trying to get back to painting my heart and soul again.
I probably just need to paint and forget about the when or why.
JUST DO IT......as they say in the commercial's.
I left out a series I painted last year with one being sold at Incognito Art Event...and two others at Market Central after taking them down to the store there. This series was once again studies or works of the human form but this time I used the Zorn color palette, limited palette of only four colors; red, yellow, black and white. It was somber colors and one of my art friends told me the series was very "dark". Not as in night time but in mood and subject matter. I can't seem to find the photo's ..I had about 12 of these pieces and I know I sold 4 out of the series. Wonder what I did with them. Maybe will find them again and look them over and see why they were so "dark".
Ok. so here we are in real time April 3rd 2016 and I am posting the new series.
Someone remarked on this series that it is very colorful.........really?
Someone else remarked they are very light and airy and show more positive thoughts.
someone else thought of them as angels.
Interesting that these elicit so many diverse comments.
Maybe I can continue in this vain and in this style.
It is applied with palette knife and I did enjoy playing around with them.
two of these sold today..but I only know for sure the name of one..will post the other one when I know for sure what I called it. LOL
