Dream Series is what I called this series at first but not sure that is my intent as I painted. Now I  may make a title change. I started pulling out quotes from The Little Prince as I painted and may at some point incorporate the quotes directly into the paintings.

                      “Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking outward

                  If you love a flower that lives on a star, it is sweet to look at the sky at night.

                            Two  more pieces are on the easel for this study of forms and color.
   I will post them eventually. I like to have them further along before posting on the blog.

Dragonflies...since I did my little BEE HAPPY paintings I decided to go a bit further into the buggy field. Dragonflies have been prolific this year and the kids have enjoyed sneaking up on them and touching their backs. So here are a few of the 9 dragonflies I painted.....

 seriously need better photo's so bear with me I will replace these some time in the future and will add the last 2 as well.

Some things I did for Market Central...my apologies...these are really bad photo's., all the work is in the space and I can see I really need to go over and take better shots of the work before they are gone.

The bicycle series on request:

       2 yellow backrgound
               with white dots.

Then 4 with blue green    background with white dots.
The red bike with front handle bar basket is a bike that is seen  at   Bobby Lanier Farm Park,
where we work in the community garden.


the paintings sides are covered in ribbon
which adds to the whimsy of the paintings
the yellow have yellow ribbon that looks like lattice fencing.
 The blue green have a black and
white poka dot ribbon.
